Solitude is misunderstood as boredom
While in reality it allows you to introspect. You can think calmly what things you need to work upon and the things you should be grateful for. When someone always stays in crowd they tend to overlook certain basic essential of their lives. Simple things like spending quality time with parents or taking care of health are missed out.

  1. Jot down things you are thankful for: Yes, you read it right. It does not cost to be thankful. In fact it makes you a humble person. You will start valuing every possession of yours that you considered trivial earlier. Practising gratitude will enable you to realise in what forms you can help and guide others. If someone seeks advice from you, your list of good deeds and results are on the tip of your tongue.

You can even discover places of interest in the world and learn more about their history, read about climate change. Find out how universe works.
  4. Create a vision board: This is for your personal growth. A vision board is your plans regarding your future. How the next few days, months or years should look like? Where you see yourself? The best part of solitude is it gives you the quietude that is needed to make these long term plans. Based on these, you can divide your tasks for upcoming days. With this your tendency to procrastinate to perform important tasks will be reduced.
  5. Sort the mess: De-clutter the place where you sit and do the most important tasks. Places like your study table, your wardrobe, and your bed should not be in a mess. Ensure that everything is in place and there’s place for everything. Throw or discard unnecessary things. Finding things at right place at right time saves time and energy. So don’t undermine the importance of de-cluttering and sorting
  6. Self-examine: It’s only you who understands yourself better. Self-talks means giving positive affirmations to yourself. It’s as necessary as prayers to god.
